"Sometimes a two page layout can be a daunting task, as you try to coordinate and balance each page individually and as a whole.  If a two page layout is needed, and I'm struggling to make it work, I usually go for a grid style approach.  This creates a more manageable formula for plugging in your pictures, papers, journaling and embellishments.  For this page, I sized my supporting photos at 3x3 inches, and reached for my stack of Journaling and Phrase cards from the Seen & Noted and Family Ties collections.  I then trimmed the selected the cards down to match my photo … [Read more...]

"I love creating double-page layouts – I think it’s so much easier to scrapbook lots of photos to tell a story when the canvas is twice as big!  I had all of these 4x6 photos printed and waiting to be scrapbooked – as you can see, I was able to trim some of them slightly and fit a total of EIGHT pictures on two 8 ½” x 11” pages…and there was still oodles of room for lots of fun patterned paper and embellishments too!  I placed the title directly on top of a few of the photos as a space-saver.  Since I pretty much filled the pages with my design, I added some journaling on the … [Read more...]

"This was a real challenge for me, but I knew right away the perfect pictures for the job.  I've been saving these 10 photo's to scrap one day and I'm so glad I finally did.  I mixed a couple Pebbles lines and just pulled colors from my photographs.  The Family Ties phrase card made for a perfect title which I added to with corrugated stickers.  It's hard to see but I united the two pages further by stitching around the perimeter of the layout with a matching yellow thread color." - Laura Craigie, Pebbles Design Team MemberSeen & Noted Take Note (751321)Seen & Noted … [Read more...]

Happy Monday everyone!  This week on the Pebbles blog will have you seeing double - double page layouts that is!  I've challenged some of our design team members to create a double page layout using their favorite Pebbles supplies."My husband and I have a favorite restaurant we like to dine at whenever our son Christopher is away at camp. It’s the place we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. It’s the place that serves the best scallops I’ve ever tasted. It’s the kind of place where the wait staff are like friends. It was time to create a page about Bruno with a collage of … [Read more...]
