Hello, Becki here, to share with you a layout I created using the brand new Happy Day collection. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day and there’s nothing I’m more thankful for than my family. I created this layout to tell my kiddos how grateful I am for them. Today I also thought I’d share a couple of tricks that I use when I’m adding Thickers to my projects. When I add Thickers to the page and I want them to be in a straight line I use a clear ruler. I put my Thickers on the ruler and then when I have them placed in a straight line I place it on the page and gently press the top of the Thickers down and move the ruler.
Once I have my Thickers in place I usually stitch over them to make sure that they stay in place. The Thickers that come with this collection are thin chipboard with a little bit of a wood grain (the other set is the same material but in a beautiful floral pattern). They are so easy to stitch through.
I used a frame from the cardstock tag frames pack to put my photos in. I printed the photos at 2 inches square and they fit perfectly in the frame.
I love the little elements of this collection. Collections that have elements that can be used for many occasions. I especially love the paper tape that I tucked in under the photo strip. Here are a few more details:
