Hi everybody! Stephanie Buice here today. I’m so excited to be a guest here at Pebbles! Guesting is always one of my favorite things to do, because it lets me try out different products that I may not get to use on the daily, kind of expands your horizons a little bit…I like it! Thanks for having me today!
Lets get t0 the cover of this mini album I started creating, just for you guys!
Fall is definitely my favorite season, I love the changing leaves, cooler temperatures and all the cozy layers we get to start wearing again. When I started working on this album, I wanted to capture that exact feeling. With that in mind, I wanted to have lots of layers and mixed in textures.
For my base layer, I went with a cork pennant shape and layered a canvas piece onto it. Next, I decided to add some basket weaving layers by cutting some of my papers into 1/2″ strips and weaving them together (SO SIMPLE!). I decided the best way for me to adhere it all down was to simple sew around a few sides of it…worked like a charm!
Next I added on another piece of cork, cut to mimic the shape of the bottom of the pennant base. I also ran it through my machine to make sure it didn’t budge.
Finally I got to my favorite part! Adding all the cute die cut pieces until I was happy with the look, I used the “Hello There” round tag and the gold Thickers as my title and accented it with some leaves, a few butterflies and an arrow underneath.
That’s about it for me today, thank you so much for having me. I hope you enjoyed my share!
