Archives for October 2017
Hello everyone, it’s Eva Pizarro here on the blog showing you how to make a Quick Halloween Layout using the 3×4 cards you find on one of the Midnight Haunting patterned papers.
I think the paper with 3×4 cards is very versatile and I love that all Pebbles’ collections include one. I usually use my 3×4 cards to create mini albums, to embellish a page or to make a simple greeting card! Today I wanted to challenge myself to use several cards and create a layout in 30 minutes or less.
The first step is to create the background for my layout. I used this lovely foil web paper on top of white cardstock.
After that, I layered a piece of stars patterned paper in the middle of my page.
I attached each card in the middle of the layout and I was ready to embellish.
I used a few die cuts and stickers and created dimension by using 3d dots.
For my title, I used these gorgeous gold Thickers. As you can see I didn’t have any “e” so I used some “f” and some pieces from an “u” to create my missing letters.
I made this quick Halloween layout in exactly 27 minutes (even taking pictures!). Now you can’t say you don’t have time to scrap your favorite memories!
Thanks for following us. Have a great week!

Hi, Renee here today to share a Halloween layout using the Midnight Haunting collection. I love Halloween! I love looking back on all the fun costumes my girls have chosen over the years too. This layout documents their Star Wars costumes from last year. They were adorable as Rey and BB-8. Payton’s inflatable BB-8 costume was a hit during trick-or-treating.
The EEEK! pattern paper was the perfect background for this Halloween layout. I trimmed several additional pattern papers to the same size as my photo, 5 ¼” x 5 ¼, and adhered them along the left side of the page.
My photo was centered among the pattern papers and adhered with Foam Dots.
I sprinkled Golden Color Mist around my page and added a “Boo!” Sticker to my photo.
I love the gold foil on the Spooktacular Thickers for the title of my page!
There are touches of gold everywhere you look! I added just a few embellishments to make it stand out more I also added a pumpkin sticker, a butterfly and skull and crossbones die-cuts, fussy cut flowers, and gold Brads. Don’t you love the pops of orange?

Hip, hip, hooray everyone! Heather Leopard is here and not only does October bring cooler weather for us here in Texas but it’s also birthday season for my family. I love making fun cards and a fun birthday card is probably my most favorite to create.
Gather your supplies
You’ll need your favorite expressions cut to size from patterned paper, and the awesome embellishments (hello, enamel confetti!) from the Happy Hooray collection plus card bases cut to 8.5″ x 11″. You can download my Silhouette template for card bases and the die cut words HERE.
Let’s get started with birthday card #1
Fold your card base in half so it measures 4.25″ x 5.5″. Cut the words from my cut file found HERE and arrange them as shown in the photos. Using matching washi, add some washi banner pennants and then place the large die cut sentiment from the Happy Hooray collection over the washi using foam dots, so that the pennants stick out from the die cut.
Add additional embellishments and enamel confetti for a fun and festive look.
Birthday Card #2
Wanting to wish someone a very happy birthday? Get your point across with birthday overload. To create this, fold your card base in half and place it in landscape / horizontal in front of you. Add the chipboard “HAPPY” banner across the top. Using that awesome washi again, run a strip across and under the banner to create a border. Then, cut the words “happy” from the repeat stickers in the collection. Just cut it right down the middle so that you have the words “birthday” remaining.
Find the center of your card and add 5 birthdays stacked evenly on top of each other. I kept the stickers on the backing and was able to easily peel from the side and adhere all 5 on at the same time. Easy breezy. Next, add the words to the right and left, leaving an even gap in the middle. Lastly, fill the gap with candles. Add embellishments as you wish.
Now my birthday cards are complete and I’m ready to celebrate!

Hi Pebbles friends, it’s Wendy Sue here today, sharing some fun DIY Halloween Treat Boxes! These boxes are really quick and easy to whip up with the “Midnight Haunting” collection and the Candy Box punch board from We R Memory Keepers!
These would be perfect for classroom treats, neighbor gifts, or co-worker goodies. Here’s how quick and easy they are to put together:
Start with a paper cut to 7″ x 10.” Follow the instructions on the punch board to create the candy box:
Use heavy-duty red tape to secure the box. Tie the ends with black crochet thread.
Be sure to fill the box with treats before you tie the second end shut!
Now it’s time to whip up a tag to embellish the box! Start with a 3×4 card.
Cut the top corners to create a tag shape:
Add a brad to the top of the tag:
Use foam adhesive squares to place stickers (or die-cuts) over the images on the tag:
Now tie a bow onto a chipboard tag or cut a tag from patterned paper:
Finally, add the small tag onto the bottom of the larger tag with foam squares:
See how easy? Now put together a few more in the next few minutes, fill them with treats, and go treat your friends (no tricks!)
