We’re having so much fun playing with the Yours Truly line. There’s nothing like a sweet little note or a unique handmade card to make a person’s whole day this time of year.
Today Designer Kathy Martin is sharing two lovely Valentine’s Day cards that you can easily make on your own at home!
Kiss Me Card
Valentine’s Day and conversation hearts go together like peas and carrots and peanut butter and jelly, don’t you think?
To create a great big conversation heart all you need is a large heart punch, thin metal die or a digital cutter and some pretty paper or vellum. I used a set of nesting thin metal dies to make the varied heart shapes used for my card.
Be Mine Card
We love the unique take each member of our design team displays when working with our products. Today, Designer Laurel Seabrook and Designer Becky Williams are showcasing some beautiful handmade Valentine’s Day cards.
“I love layering bits and pieces of items that all go together and carry out the theme. The chipboard shapes and envelope were perfect with the ‘love note’ phrase card and then the Silhouette die cut and clear stickers just finished it all off.” Laurel Seabrook.
Designer Samantha Taylor has designed a trio of pretty handmade Valentine’s Day cards to share with you today. We’re loving the pretty!
We love simple, but beautiful around here and we’re pleased to have Designer Laura Craigie sharing her simple handmade Valentine’s Day cards today.
When I think of Valentines cards the first things that come to my mind are hearts, scallops, and glitter. I tried to incorporate these things into my cards, and using the wonderful Your Truly collection made it so easy!
They take care of the sentiment and then all you need is a few little embellishments and your card is complete.
