When I scrap, I like to get it done as quickly as possible and waiting for things to dry is not really my cup tea. To avoid this time sucker, I tend to use markers instead of paint or glitter. However, markers don’t have the texture or dimension that other longer drying products offer. Below is a tutorial to quickly color chipboard and add a little pizazz with chalk.
Our design team thought it might be fun to share a few ideas/people/things that inspire us in our daily lives outside of scrapbooking. Here are just a few from me.
I cannot do a darn thing without a bubbly and fizzing sip of Coke. Many amazing ideas have been inspired by my caffeinated brain. Afterall, It’s the real thing.
I am not sure what many of us crafty people would do without Martha Stewart. I know I have personally benefited from reading her magazine. Admit it…you have every issue stashed somewhere in your house for safe keeping, especially the holiday ones.
Are you not entertained? This is one of my favorite movies and although many ladies find Russell Crowe very attractive, I am only smitten with his character Maximus. Shhhhhh – don’t tell my husband. 🙂
This is a very entertaining blog by a fellow scrapper named Julie Howard. I think she is really a comedian at heart, but her design work is also very impressive. Please visit her blog for some inspiration and entertainment.
Feel free to share what inspires you with us and please have an inspiration filled day.
Have you seen the brilliantly colored chalks from Pebbles Inc.? There are so many to choose from with every color imaginable, including shimmering pearlescent and metallic cream chalks. Not to mention the clever and easy to use applicator. The possibilities are endless. So….what can you do with chalk?
Our design team came up with some great ideas for how to use your chalk below. Also, check back later this week for a tip on how to make sueded chipboard with chalk. Hope to see some of your fabulous designs with Pebbles Inc. Just send us a link to your work.
