Hello Pebbles’ fans! Eva Pizarro on the blog today sharing a quick tutorial on how to make a banner and some quick favors for your next party

Decorate your next party with a handmade banner and favors using the new My Bright Life from @pebblesinc. Project by @evapizarrov

I think it is fun to decorate kid’s parties but I also love to include some handmade details for our parties with friends. The new “My Bright Life” collection it is perfect for your next party. The patterns are great for any occasion and there are several “thank you” sentiments in the line!

To create the banner I cut some 4 x 3,5 inch squares and created a banner using my Banner Punch Board.

On top of the papers I glued a 3,5 x 1 3/4 inch white cardstock strip, I used a dotted cardstock by Bazzill to add a fun texture!

I cut the Happy Day phrase on my electronic cutting machine and added the letters with some foam dots.

I used a yellow string to put together my banner. This banner is very simple and it would work with any party theme!

I also made some easy favors. I simply put some homemade cookies inside a kraft bag, used the same yellow thread to close them and added stickers and die cuts to decorate.

DIY Fall Party Favors

Hi friends, Becki here. Who is excited for Fall? I, for one, can’t wait! I adore everything about Fall. I had so much fun playing with the Woodland Forest collection to create these awesome DIY Fall Party Favors. Who wouldn’t love to receive one of these adorable pumpkin boxes at a Fall party?

I created these DIY Fall Party Favors with the brand new Woodland Forest collection. I love all things Fall/Autumn themed so this one was a fast favorite for me. I used my electronic die cut machine to die cut all the pieces for this project. It was super easy. It only took me about 10 minutes to cut all of the pieces out.

They’re so easy to assemble. I only used one small dot of adhesive on each box. to adhere the two pieces of patterned paper together. Easy peasy! At the top of each box I tied a bit of twine around the handle (with the leaf and tag) as the finishing touch.

On the leaf on each party favor I added a rubber shape and on each tag I added a small phrase sticker. By adding the rubber shape and the sticker each party favor is unique. How fun is it that each guest will get a unique little party favor.

The base of the party favors all have the orange polka dot patterned paper. Then, I cut the inside piece with a more bold colorful patterned paper. You could easily cut the bases out of the same orange polka dot patterned paper and make these Halloween party favors. Wouldn’t that be cute?!?!?

Thanks for stopping by the Pebbles blog today! I hope you LOVE these DIY Fall Party Favors enough that you’ll grab a few patterned papers from the Woodland Forest collection and create your own. Happy creating!

Valentine’s Day Treats for Kids

Children's Classroom Valentine's Day Cards & Treats by Mendi Yoshikawa using the #WeGoTogether collection from @PebblesInc. @SnippetsByMendi

Hello there!  It’s Mendi here today popping in with some sweet little Valentine’s Treats perfect for your child to exchange with classmates.  As soon as I saw the sheet of 12 little Valentines I knew I wanted to find a fun project to use them on!  I was looking for a project that would be easy to mass produce for a class of 24 children and could include some candy.  What’s Valentine’s day without candy, right?

I decide on these sweet little sleeves filled with Sweethearts candy.  Best of all I was able to get a 2 lb. bag making this a really affordable project to hand out.  🙂

Step 1:  To create these, start by cutting your 12×12 paper into 4-inch strips. (you can get 3 treat bags from each piece of paper so including the sheets of cutout, I used 10 sheets of paper to make 24 valentines).

Step 2:  Score your paper at 5″, 5.5″, 6″ and 11″.  This will form the accordion fold at the bottom of your treat bag and the flap at the top.  If you have a print that has a definite top and bottom, make sure to have the top of the print face the zero score line so that the patterned paper design will be upright when folded.

Step 3:  Fold the treat sleeve along the score lines and add the 3×4 inch valentine to the front.

Step 4:  Adhere a line of scor-tape just below the fold line of the top flap.    Fill a small 4×6 clear bag with candies and fold over bag and adhere to tape.  I calculated the 2 lb. bag gives each kid 25 to 30 candies for a 24-student classroom.

Step 5:  Using a ruler, find the center of the bag and punch two holes in the top flap, punching through all the layers.

Step 6:  String the holes with twine and tie a bow.  A little trick I figured out to make the process quicker was to thread a fat needle with a long piece of twine so that I could easily thread the holes without my twine unraveling.  This allowed me to tie 4 or 5 bows quickly before repeating the process.

There you have it!  Easy and really fun to make!  I decided to finish off mine by adding a little die-cut border to my flap for an extra detail, but they are cute either way.

Hello Pebbles Fans! Holly here from Ribbons & Glue! Since the New Year is creeping upon us, I’m sharing some simple Pillow Box Shakers made from the Pebbles Inc. Home+Made collection that would be perfect to make to ring in the New Year.

Pillow Box Shakers made from @Pebblesinc #JHHomeMade collection by @ribbonsandglue

These shaker boxes are made using the We R Memory Keepers Pillow Box Punch Board and the gorgeous Home+Made collection by Jen Hadfield. This collection is full of gold which just screams Happy New Year!

Pillow Box made from @wermemorykeepers and @Pebblesinc #JHHomeMade collection by @ribbonsandglue

To make my Pillow Box Shakers, I made  a 5 x 6 inch pillow box following the We R Memory Keepers Punch Board instructions.  I then added pop corn kernels inside the box to use as a noise maker and hot glued the ends of the box together.

@Pebblesinc #JHHomeMade collection

The boxes are embellished with Home+Made decorative tapes, Alpha Thickers, gold stickers, glitter tape and ribbon.

I cut a small slit at the end of each box and hot glued the boxes onto a popsicle stick  that I covered with glitter tape.

It’s always gratifying to buy an all-in-one kit. You can get everything done without any extra hassle, and you don’t have to go search for add-ons or other supplies. Well, you may not have realized this, but the Birthday Wishes collection can be just that – an all-in-one kit for an entire birthday party! Kim Kesti whipped up all the goodies and trinkets you need for the perfect party. Read on to check it out!

Birthday Wishes Logo

Hello, friends! I am very excited to share a birthday ensemble I created with, of course, the new Pebbles Birthday Wishes collection. It was a happy day when I saw the first peeks of this new line. We are big fans of birthday parties around here, so this collection will get tons of use.

We've got you covered on everything birthday with this start-to-finish ensemble by @kimkesti using #PebblesInc collection #BirthdayWishes.

I went a little nuts with this ensemble, but I couldn’t resist all the cute elements. The party banner was simple to create; just staple your chipboard balloons on a piece of baker’s twine. This banner would be the perfect size for a cake, too!

The invitation could not be easier. I used one of the cards from the Cardmaking Pad (you can create multiples really quickly with this pad), and layered it with a Rosette and a few pieces from the chipboard shapes pack.

I think these glasses are my favorite! I decorated them with a strip of patterned paper, then tied on a cute tag with more baker’s twine. I can’t wait to fill these with lemonade!

And, no party is complete without a few favors for the guest to take home. I adore the confetti printed bags! They don’t need a whole lot of decoration, so I settled for a striped belly band and a stamped “thanks”. (Love the Thanks stamp – it stamps beautifully!)

I hope you have enjoyed my little party items. Our next party is for a dear friend’s 18th birthday! I think the kids will enjoy this set along with ice cream and sprinkles!
