Easter is right around the corner and we thought we’d share a few fun ideas with you this week. Kicking things of Juliana Michaels is sharing some fun Easter treat cones.
Hello everyone! Juliana here from 17turtles. Easter is coming soon! Are you ready? If not, never fear. I’m so excited to share my Easter Treat Cones with you!
Treat cones are a simple project that you can put together quickly and they are perfect for dressing up your Easter place settings or to give as an Easter treat to your family and friends.
I started with 7″ paper mache cones purchased from my local craft supply store. I then covered each of them with a different piece of patterned paper from the Pebbles Garden Party collection.
Next, I embellished them with a punched patterned paper border, cardstock grass and a 3 dimensional flower that I made using the Garden Party Cardstock Die Cuts.

After I had assembled the flowers, I adhered them to the cones and added burlap ribbon bows and handles.
I used a hot glue gun to attach the flowers and the burlap to the cone.
The final step was to fill small, clear plastic treat bags with jelly beans, tie them with a length of jute and then place them into the cones.
I hope you enjoyed these Easter Treat Cones and don’t forget to visit my blog to learn how to create the 3 Dimensional Die Cut Cardstock Flowers.
